"Also the device must have either an SFI or FIA approval sticker on it. Early HANS devices did not carry an approval sticker and will need to be re-certified for use in 2012".

Nice... so the people who had them from the very beginning get to go through the hassle of that.

Front Beam Solidworks Model

Could I please ask if someone could take a measurement on the front beam from the outside of flange on the shock tower upright from one side to the other to help set up the overall width of the beam.. I am trying to create this beam in Solidworks and would like to have a double check. Thanks. Tom M.

Just making sure here we have the over-all's correct to the regs.
I had to do some pushing and pulling on the reference chassis.

Here is a shot of my Vee overlayed on the mod chassis.
My plan would be to re-create the chassis from scratch.

I gave this RFactor sim mod a good going through yesterday and I have to say it is very nicely done indeed.
