Re: Legends cars in FM
I have run a legends car in solo's and they are a handfull! their suspension could be alot better but giving them slicks isn't the only thing they would need to be a factor in FM. 600 racing has made theit spindles weak so putting wider slick tires can dammage them. I loved autoXing my legends but t...

Re: Schumacher to run SKUSA SuperNationals in Las Vegas
This Dosn't surpize me. I have a poster of Mr. Schumacher racing in the rain in a cart.
If you havent had the chance get into a 125cc shifter and take a lap, at a track or an autocross it will blow your mind!
The 125cc shifter is a real kick in the pants.

Re: Tranny prep.
I have just finished cleaning the exterior and am about to delve into the belly of the beast....the whole thing cost me a set of Chevy cylinder heads so if I screw it up it is no great loss.... Besides it will be a learning experience! Remember the old comercial..... "Gee boss let me do it I al...

Tranny prep.
I just picked up a used swing axle transmission out of a bug and was wondering what do I do to prep the transmission for Vee racing? I can rebuild a bug motor in my sleep but never worked on a transmission. I am in need of guidance.

Re: Tech
All you guys bring up good points. I was a tech guy and was enamored with the vee class. When I was chief I tried to always do something different with the Vees at every race to get my tech guys and girls more familiar with the rules for the class. For the most part most tech guys unless they are in...

RB01 Special
I have been given a set of drawings of a Formula Vee that was designed in the mid 70's by a Vee driver/Designer that raced in the 70's. I realize that the original design needs to be upgraded to current safety specs., and I have been converting it to cad. Here is a sketch of the RB01 Special. It is ...

engine and tranny dimentions
I looked at all the back Tech posts and cannot see where this has been asked. Is there anyone that has dimensional drawings of the engine and transmission as they are configured in a Formula Vee? I have a Vee project in the works and I need some guidance.
Thank you.
