Thanks Terry, let me know your route and when your planning on coming through the northern part of Chicago. If your trip is on 294 you will come right past my area.

Now if he were playing tour of duty, and then went out into a field and we shot bazooka's at him, would he be surprised when his arms and legs were ACTUALLY BLOWN OFF?? Duh!

Re: 23x5.0-15 Hoosiers?

A few months ago i would have killed to have those tires. They were widely used here in the midwest by guys that didnt have a long box to use at road America. It was a really nice combo with a short box on the 4 mile track. It has been quite some time since anyone made the 23" tires so i imagin...

Sort of a poll

I was just curious how many people are going to limit or stop their racing this upcoming year do to the state of the economy?
If you wish to elaborate, please do. Or you could just say limit , quit, no change etc.

Re: Runoffs practice tickler

Due to the shear size of the track, only a massive accident with track blockage would / should bring out a pace car. Now being the runnofs who knows what scca will do. I guess it depends on who THEY want to win! yeah i said it !

Actually i believe he said 50.3 years old or 51 . He was talking about Niki Maurus at the time being 21 and most of the drivers were driving before Niki was born. At least John and Niki got some nice airtime.

Thor, I would also suggest, that if you are going to do it yourself, have a few older tires to practice on so you can hunt for the depth you want without putting holes in them.

Re: On E-bay

There is a Citation on ebay now, I raced against this car in the midwest. It was Paul Epifanio's citation and it was very quick. I dont know the reserve but it might be the bargain of the year.

Re: FST, We've Got Class

Congrats to you Bill and to all the first drivers and promoters to make this happen. I know that it has been a giant undertaking that has paid off. Good job to all involved and hopefully it will go on as long as its younger cousin class the vee's. Dean
