Roxanne’s Exhaust System
Stainless system from a Vortech. Bought new in 2011. Sold car last year, no need for it anymore. Fits many other models. Requires either the lightweight starter or some grinding on the stock VW starter to fit. Fits Protocol also. I assume many others. $500obo. New was $1500. Stephen Saslow stephensa...

Re: Engine oil Viscosity
Yes, the OIL temperature has an effect of the viscosity, but the viscosity you should run is determined by your clearances. I should have worded that sentence more carefully. Brian H, I am the source of said springs. I had them custom designed to a spec that works for our motors. No head modification is needed. They are custom made for exactly our use by a spring manufacturer. Feel free to contact me via email if you'd like specifics. Let me know what weight of spring yo...

Re: Retro Letter 2004 or Why SCCA System Sucks
If the overwhelming majority of letters to the SCCA said NO, why would they implement it? Only slower on the straights. Probably beat the Lotus in a lap by 5-10 seconds. FV lap record at Seattle is 1:38.0. Try doing that in a Lotus.

I am a firm believer in the free market. While the cost of Vee parts has risen, and availability of Vee parts has diminished, look at the package deals that are currently listed. They are dirt cheap, and in some cases you can purchase a complete package for less than the cost of a conversion. Mike ...
