Re: Offset link pin bushings.
I have been making mine out of 660 cored bronze for years. I just had a hard time getting my head around using steel for a bushing. Since I make them for myself and a few people (not for general sale) I don't worry about being too precise on the internal bore. The bronze distorts some when pressing ...

Personally pitch the spring and get a good quality one ie: Hypercoil. The spring rate of a spring will not change, however they will collapse. When you get a new one carefully measure the free length of the spring write it down, annually remeasure the spring. I throw my springs at a 1/4- 3/8in. devi...

Re: Just don't get it!
Why do people compare Canadian F1200 to US FV racing? Sorry, not to belittle them BUT their group is like a small SCCA region only 15 cars or so. Racing IS expensive, Racing has always been expensive, and Will ALWAYS BE EXPENSIVE. Learn to adjust your brakes, and cycle and conserve your tires. Go ra...

Thoughts and Prayers
I was at IMS the last few days. Upon returning I was informed that Bruce Livermore sadly lost his son in a house fire. I want to express my deepest sympathies to the Livermore family and friends. My thoughts and prayers are with you in these trying times.

Re: effect of exhaust leaks on engine power
The old Lawnboy mowers all had a hole in the top of the piston, they called it a sonic decompression release. Maybe that's what your competitors call it to.

Looks like a K/O Brewer tail check with Bob at LRE. There are several types of scoops for that tail, while you are at it get a pair of extractors for the bottom.

Re: Spec Tire Survey Results
Here is a thought, why don't we ask the CRB to start another new Class say Spec FV. We can have a spec tire, we can add all the weight we want, and make another rule adjustments deemed beneficial. If the new class works everyone will migrate to it. Hundreds of Garage Queens will come back, any thous...

Look around, with your over sized drums you should use the oversize carbotech's. Probably more over size still around than standard size.

Maybe that can be our new Spec tire. Ohh but the back-markers will still be back-markers, I guess that wouldn't be fair.
